Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe was one of the African countries I had been most excited to visit, largely because of Victoria Falls, one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls in the world. After spending the day exploring the falls and feeling the spray from the crashing water, I discovered there was a local music festival taking place that evening. I went on my own and ended up spending hours dancing with complete strangers. I’ve never claimed to be a great dancer, but moments like that are some of my favorite parts of travel. When you stop worrying about looking out of place and simply join in, you’re often rewarded with experiences you’ll never forget.
